7. Your entry: You promise and warrant that all the details submitted with your entry are true and correct.
8. Prize: There are five (5) finalist prize packages to be won. Four (4) finalist prize packages will be awarded to winners drawn under clause 13A (each a Consumer Finalist Prize Package) and one (1) finalist prize package will be awarded to the winner drawn under clause 13B (the Wild Card Finalist Prize Package). Each Consumer Finalist Prize Package includes: (a) the opportunity to participate in the Molenberg Games event (Event) to compete to win NZD $20,000 cash (the Major Prize); and (b) a travel package for the finalist and one (1) travel companion to attend the Event in Auckland, including return economy flights (if the finalist’s usual residential address is outside the Auckland region), two (2) nights’ accommodation, and spending
money (as specified below). The Wild Card Finalist Prize Package will be awarded by MediaWorks in accordance with the MediaWorks T&Cs and may differ from the Consumer Finalist Prize Package (including in relation to travel and accommodation components). At the conclusion of the Event, the finalist with the highest points tally will win the Major Prize. Each of the remaining four (4) finalists (each a Runner-up) will receive a NZD $500 Prezzy Card (each a Runner-up Prize).
9. Value of Prizes: The total prize pool value is up to NZD $34,500 and comprises: (i) the Major Prize of NZD $20,000; (ii) four (4) Runner-up Prizes of NZD $500 Prezzy Cards; and (iii) four (4) Consumer Finalist Prize Package travel components (estimated retail value up to NZD $2,500 per package depending on the finalist’s place of residence and the cost of flights/accommodation at the time of booking). The Wild Card Finalist Prize Package (awarded under clause 13B) is provided in accordance with the MediaWorks T&Cs and is separate to the Consumer Finalist Prize Packages.
10. Estimated retail value: Each finalist travel package is valued at up to NZD $2,500 (including flights where applicable). For finalists who reside in the Auckland region (and therefore do not receive flights), the travel package is valued at up to NZD $1,500. These values are estimates only and may vary depending on availability and the cost of travel and accommodation at the time of booking.
11. Finalist Prize Package: In addition to the opportunity to participate in the Event, each Consumer Finalist Prize Package will include:*
- Flights: if the finalist’s usual residential address is outside the Auckland region, return economy flights for the finalist and their travel companion from the nearest New Zealand commercial airport reasonably determined by the Promoter to Auckland (flight routes, dates and times as determined by the Promoter, acting reasonably). If a finalist resides in the Auckland region, flights are not included.
- Accommodation: two (2) nights’ accommodation in Auckland for the finalist and their travel companion in one shared room at accommodation selected by the Promoter (or its nominated agent), including standard room-only charges (unless otherwise specified by the Promoter).
- Spending money: NZD $750 spending money (total) for the finalist (intended to contribute to meals and incidentals for the finalist and their travel companion), paid by electronic transfer to the finalist’s nominated New Zealand bank account (or another method determined by the Promoter). If the finalist resides in the Auckland region, the spending money component will still be provided.
*The Wild Card Finalist Prize Package (awarded to the winner drawn under clause 13B) will be awarded in accordance with the MediaWorks T&Cs and may differ from the Consumer Finalist Prize Package described in these Terms and Conditions (including the travel and accommodation components).
12. Travel package conditions: The Event date(s), accommodation dates and (if applicable) flight dates will be determined by the Promoter and notified to finalists. Finalists (and their travel companion) must be available to travel and attend on those dates. If a finalist cannot attend the Event on the required date(s), the finalist’s place in the Event (and travel package) will be forfeited and may be awarded to a reserve finalist, unless the Promoter approves a Substitute Competitor in accordance with clause 15. All travel bookings will be made by the Promoter (or its nominated travel agent). Finalists must not make their own travel bookings and seek reimbursement unless the Promoter has agreed in writing in advance. Flights and accommodation are subject to availability and the standard terms and conditions of airlines and accommodation providers apply. Flights may be indirect. The travel companion must be 18 years or older, must travel on the same itinerary as the finalist (if applicable), and must comply with all reasonable directions of the Promoter and the Event organiser. The travel package is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash. Any unused portion is forfeited. Finalists (and their travel companion) are responsible for all other costs and expenses not expressly included above, including (without limitation) travel to and from their home and the departure airport, travel insurance, additional meals and beverages, room service, minibar, laundry, telephone/internet charges, deposits and incidental charges, additional nights, and any costs associated with changing bookings. Finalists (and their travel companion) may be required to present a credit card at accommodation check-in for incidentals/security bond. If a finalist (or their travel companion) fails to follow the Promoter’s booking instructions, fails to provide required details by the required time, or engages in behaviour that results in any supplier refusing carriage/service, the Promoter may, acting reasonably, treat the travel package (or relevant component) as forfeited. If travel or the Event is impacted by events beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control (including cancellations, delays, weather events, industrial action, public health restrictions, or other force majeure events), the Promoter may, subject to any applicable law, vary, postpone or substitute any component of the travel package and/or the Event (including offering alternative travel dates or a replacement prize of equal value).
13. Prize draw: Five (5) finalist spots will be awarded in total, split as follows:
A. Consumer Promotion draw (4 finalists): four (4) winning entries will be randomly drawn from all Eligible Entries received via clause 4A by 11:59pm NZT on 31 May 2026. The Consumer Promotion draw will take place at 10:00am NZT on Wednesday, 3 June 2026 at 25 Hargreaves Street, Auckland City, Auckland 1011. The first four (4) Eligible Entries drawn will win a finalist spot (Consumer Finalist Prize Package). The draw conductor may draw additional reserve entries in case an ineligible entry or entrant is drawn, or in the case a winner forfeits the prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The winner of a drawn prize is determined by chance.
B. More FM Wild Card draw (1 finalist): one (1) winning entry will be randomly drawn from all Eligible Entries received via clause 4B (i.e. Wild Card Entries in the Wild Card Entry Pool). The live on-air draw will take place on Tuesday, 2 June 2026 between 3pm and 7pm NZT during the More FM drive time show (3:00pm to 7:00pm NZT). The draw will be conducted from 17 Hargreaves Street, Auckland City, Auckland 1011. The first Eligible Entry drawn will win the Wild Card finalist spot (Wild Card Finalist Prize Package). Reserve entries may be drawn in case an ineligible entry or entrant is drawn, or in the case a winner forfeits the prize in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. For further details on the More FM Wild Card draw, refer to the MediaWorks T&Cs.
14. Prize winner notification: Consumer Promotion draw winners will be contacted by the Promoter’s Agency using the contact details provided at the time of entry within 5 business days after the Consumer Promotion draw (by 10 June 2026). The More FM Wild Card winner will be notified live on air at the time of the Wild Card draw, and may also be contacted by the Promoter and/or More FM after the draw to confirm eligibility and arrange prize fulfilment. If a winner cannot be contacted and/or does not respond and confirm eligibility within the timeframe reasonably required by the Promoter (and in any event by 10 June 2026), the Promoter has the right to re-draw a winner to fill the finalist spot.
15. The ‘Molenberg Games’ (Event)
- The Event will be held on Saturday, 20 June 2026 at Sylvia Park, Auckland, New Zealand.
- The Event will consist of a series of skill-based challenges. The events are:
- Balance Board Challenge
- Bread Tag Breakout
- The Crate Hold
- The Puzzle Challenge
- Step Up Gauntlet
- Points will be allocated throughout the Event. The rules and scoring methodology for each challenge will be explained to finalists before that challenge commences. The Promoter may, acting reasonably, make decisions about scoring and rule interpretation to ensure the Event is run fairly and safely.
- At the conclusion of the Event, the finalist with the highest points tally will be awarded the Major Prize.
- In the event of a tie between finalists, the Promoter may, acting reasonably, apply a tie-break mechanism (for example, a tie-break challenge) communicated to finalists at the Event. If a tie-break cannot reasonably be conducted, the Major Prize money will be split equally between the tied finalists.
- The Promoter reserves the right to modify, pause or stop the challenge in the event of health or safety concerns, unforeseen circumstances or force majeure.
- Safety and fitness to participate: The Event involves physical and skill-based challenges. Each finalist (and any substitute approved under these Terms and Conditions) must be able to safely participate in the Event, and must comply with all health and safety requirements and all reasonable directions of event staff. The Promoter (and/or the Event organiser) may, acting reasonably, require a participant to pause or stop participating if there are safety concerns.
- Substitute competitor: If a finalist is unable to participate in the Event for any reason, the finalist may nominate an alternative person to compete in their place (a Substitute Competitor). Any Substitute Competitor must (a) meet the Eligible Entrant criteria in clause 3, (b) be approved by the Promoter (acting reasonably), (c) sign all required participation waivers and consents, and (d) be available to travel and attend on the required dates. If a Substitute Competitor is approved, the Substitute Competitor will be treated as the finalist for the purposes of the Event and any applicable travel package, and may nominate their own travel companion (subject to these Terms and Conditions). If the Promoter does not approve a Substitute Competitor (or no eligible Substitute Competitor is nominated in time), the finalist’s place in the Event will be forfeited and may be offered to a reserve finalist.
- As a condition of participating in the Event, finalists will be required to sign the Promoter’s (and/or the event organiser’s) participation waiver (and any related consent forms reasonably required for health and safety, filming and publicity) before taking part. If a finalist does not sign the required documentation by the time specified by the Promoter, the finalist’s place in the Event will be forfeited and the Promoter may offer that place to a reserve finalist.
- The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any participant who is deemed to be acting in an unsafe, disruptive or non-compliant manner.
- In the event of a dispute or unforeseen issue regarding the Event (including scoring), the Promoter will decide the matter acting reasonably, and that decision will be final.
- The Promoter may film, photograph and record the event, and participants agree to the use of their name, image and likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
16. Costs: Entrants are responsible for all costs associated with your entry including but not limited to internet access.
17. Promoter’s rights: The Promoter reserves the right to:
(a) provide an alternative gift of equal monetary value in the event that a gift or prize or any part of a gift or prize becomes unavailable for any reason beyond the Promoter's control;
(b) disallow entries in its absolute discretion;
(c) verify the validity of entries and determine the eligibility of entrants (including an entrant's identity) and to disqualify any entry or refuse to award a gift where dishonest or misleading details have been given by an entrant, or where an entrant has behaved in a fraudulent or dishonest manner, or otherwise than in accordance with these terms and conditions or the spirit of the Promotion;
(d) to terminate this promotion or amend any aspect of this promotion (including the gift) without notice at any time in its sole discretion in the event that this promotion or any aspect of this promotion cannot be reasonably conducted as planned;
(e) enforce any of its rights at any stage and failure to do so does not constitute a waiver of those rights.
18. Liability: Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded. Subject to that, the Promoter (and its related companies, agencies and contractors) will not be liable for any loss or damage (including indirect or consequential loss) suffered in connection with the Promotion or the Event, including as a result of any act or omission of any third party. Entrants and finalists are responsible for their own costs and expenses associated with entering the Promotion and participating in the Event, except to the extent expressly stated as included in the Prize.
19. Game of chance / game of skill: Selection of finalists for the Event is determined by chance (random draw) from all Eligible Entries received in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The Event itself is a skill-based competition, and the winner of the Major Prize will be determined by points scored across the skill-based challenges.
20. Indemnity: As a condition of participating in a promotion, the winner indemnifies the Promoter, all organisers, sponsors and all other persons and organisations associated in any way with that promotion against all claims, damages, liabilities, costs and expenses (including legal fees on a solicitor and client basis) which the Promoter may incur arising out of the winner’s participation in the promotion and/or participation in a gift or prize, howsoever caused.
